Tasty cru Beaujolais for just over a 10 spot. Remarkable value. Silky, balanced, red and black fruits. — 6 years ago

The Emmanuel Reynaud study continues. Lighter on its feet, more bright red fruit, high toned florals, game, minerals, sage underbrush, spice. A slightly less integrated but by no means less elegant blend compared to the CDR bottling. Amazing value — 10 years ago
Huge wine...Sharp, chalky with time it becomes very rich and nutty. Fascinating stuff! — 5 years ago

Covid-19 wine time. So delicious we felt like we should have saved it for a more special occasion! — 6 years ago
So good. Lovely subtle oak spice with big blackberry coulis fruit and spices on the nose. Huge depth on the nose. You could swim in the layers. Palate is so ripe, so rich and so dense with dazzling purity and freshness. Wow. This is just incredible. So fresh yet so opulent and deep. That’s what the best 15’s have to offer. Spectacular. — 6 years ago
Firstly the nose is driven by strong Sherry notes. Gets better & more harmonious with air. The Sherry turns into curry plant, fennel blended with hints of apricot & yellow stone fruit. Like a laser beam on the palate, very salty, vibrating and grasping. Long finish. — 9 years ago

Still quite austere but built like a tank. Serious juice. — 3 years ago
