Le Mont Benoit Champagne Blend

Heavy fruit- pears and juicy plum. Smoked vanilla bean aroma. A bit aggressive but I like it. Great with wood fired pizza.

'12/'13. "Bready, light, thin, lacking depth. Lacking fruit." I think acid stuck out a bit more here. Hype hype hype

Just love the Brochet wines. This is 2012 base. Greater richness than earlier bottlings. Great salinity and tension. Oyster shell. Very fresh.

Some peachy and pear notes backed up a mineral core. Sharp bit of acidity keeps you palate on alert. Refreshing way to start dinner after a long week. #happyfriday

Трава, клевер, марципан, дюшес, персик, цедра лимона, мокрый булыжник. Стройно и собрано, поджаро, при этом с хорошей концентрацией. Свежо и питко, в меру напряжённо и кислотно, без большой глубины, с чуть жарким, упрощенным финишем.

Fresh, ripe apples, Japanese pear, light yeastiness, and biscuits. I don't have a great nose but it very much smelled like a basket of ripe Fuji apples. Very fine bubbles, but sharp and made its presence felt.

I know this is a good wine, but way outclassed by the Robert Michel. Seemed like drinking battery acid. Hmm.
