Better than expected. The wine of the night, even up against a few classics. Deeply brooding and masculine, loads of dark fruits, eucalyptus, smoke, earth, and tight, dusty berries. New project of Doug Shafer and Elias Fernandez. Beautiful Malbec - full body, lots of character, still young, probably needs more time, but definitely age worthy!
