Oaky, smooth. Good. — 4 years ago
When Viners is at Todd and Scotty’s, you know the heavy hitters are coming out. Double magnum bottle, from 2007. I had no idea the bottle size changes the way the wine matures.
Great aroma, with some prune and mineral notes. Floral rose flavor upfront before the juicy cherry thing comes back. Mouthfeel is really special. The slowest roll down the palate, super soft that turns into a tannic grapefruit feeling. Finish is a slow burn, that eventually made me take my flannel off. — 4 years ago
Slightly reductive, rubbery nose, and a touch of wood. Tangy apple, with pineapple. Gentle mineral on a clean finish. Bottle disappeared quickly. — 6 years ago

Ripe fruit on the nose. Juicy black cherry and boysenberry fruit with black tea, black pepper, minerality and a saline note on the finish. Rich and creamy texture. — 3 years ago
Eddie’s Patch Syrah. Smooth and decadent. Just wonderful. — 4 years ago

Plum, cedar, pepper. Still young but decanted two hours — 5 years ago
One of the best Syrahs I’ve had. Complex nose of bittersweet chocolate, raspberries, cherries, smoke. The wine was very focused and fresh for 14 years old. Blackberry, black pepper, graphite, with a hit of menthol on the finish. Sadly, the last bottle of 2006 they had. Would def buy this again. #dumol #theunionhotel — 6 years ago

2020 vintage. Lean and mean and mineralesque. Light-medium body. Will try to double park a bottle of this and excavate in 7-8 years. Beautiful example of this style. 4.13.23. — 3 years ago
