Great Chard! — 6 years ago
Louis Armstrong and the Dukes of Dixieland are swingin’ it like there’s no tomorrow. And 3 years in the cellar made this grand cru riesling from Biecher perform amazingly. Thick clear golden wine; deep minerals and apples, perfumes, mouthwatering acids and a long violet-grapefruity finish. — 7 years ago
Delicious. Lots of berry flavor a and a bit of plum. Aged well. — 9 years ago
Water white in colour. Aromas of Lime Juice, Citrus Peel, Talc and Minerals. On the palate a riot of Lime Juice and Citric Acid of profound intensity finishing bone dry. I can see why James Halliday gave this Riesling 98 points and his Australian Riesling of 2019 because of its sheer purity, power and intensity and its ability to live for 20 years and to keep developing. Sold Out everywhere except for 4 x 6 packs at the Cellar Door of which I bought a 6 pack. Classic Porongorup Riesling. Made for Dukes by Rob Diletti of Castle Rock Estate who I had the pleasure of meeting 2 days ago at his winery for a tasting. — 5 years ago
Fragile ice crackles beneath yellow velvet thigh-highs in a field of sourdough; in the distance, Dax Shepard does dirt bike tricks in Daisy Dukes. — 6 years ago
Viscous and legs-producing liquid with purple-red color; a delicious stonybrook chlorine minerality comes first on the nose followed by dark small mulberries and blackberries, dusty notes, and a clear oak profile with spices and vanillin; mouthfilling high acid and tannins integrate fairly well with the fruit and spices and end with a chest-burning satisfying medium-length finish (14% alcohol). Good price-to-quality ratio. Had with Beaufort and Kaltbach cheeses accompanied by Louie and the Dukes of Dixieland on vinyl. — 7 years ago
Light fruity and a nice finish. Great start to the weekend. — 9 years ago
Dinero with momma dukes! — 11 years ago
Sparkling Shiraz is a tradition in Australia on Christmas Day. Bought this at Dukes Cellar Door 2 days ago. Very different to Barossa Sparkling like Rockford Black which, while good is much sweeter. This was savoury earthy and minerally - quite dark in colour. A great accompaniment to Turkey and Ham. — 5 years ago
Found this little gem of a label on my way home from a day of wine-tasting. I loved the wines so much, I became a club member. — 7 years ago
Amazing, paired with Asian prepared salmon — 9 years ago

Brought this home from the office before the lockdown. I carried this back from London, where this is one of the main gins they serve at the Dukes Bar for their legendary martinis. Hope I can get back there again. — 5 years ago
