Cedarman is blend of Rattlesnake and Dragon vineyards, a zin with a 20% helping of petite sirah. On pnp this exhibits an intoxicating nose and you can just sense the plush palate ahead. Dark cherry, brambly and full bodied. This is a great value and delicious. Oh, and it went great with 🍕! — 7 years ago
Nice wine. Fruity, just off dry. Would get it again. — 8 years ago
Australian winemakers seem to be competing for the Quirkiest name. First we had Sailor Seeks Horse and now Yes, Said the Seal. Both specialising in Pinot Noir. This wine had notes of Cherry red berries Forest floor and unobtrusive spicy oak. The savoury palate reflects the aromas. This was the Winner of the Australian Pinot Challenge recently. Chief Judges were seasoned Show Judge and Burgundy nut Phillip Rich and Jim Chatto chief winemaker at McWilliams. Young Pinot doesn't get much better than this. Tasted again 49 weeks later on 9th September 2018 with consistent notes. Yet made another note on Delectable. — 8 years ago
Beautiful Riesling nose (petrol, citrus, peaches), concentrated, without being flabby or heavy, quite delicious. — 9 years ago
This high elevations, dry climate and challenging soil grapes, produce highly concentrated flavors and richness. A fierce red wine with aromas of black cherry and vanilla spice followed by rich flavors of bold black cherry cola (for those new generations) and blueberry, with a lovely finish of chocolate spice. Excellent for paellas, grilled meats, hearty stews.
Demasiado bueno...

Quite full bodied but not too much. Don’t feel the tannins and smooth. Not fruity. Love it. with DT and sudave — 7 years ago
Loved this one! — 8 years ago
V14. Young wine. Starts out with fresh crushed bright cherry juice bouquet. Nice tart Grenache like fruit. Within an hour the bouquet became toasty, and the fruit deepened to an peppery, blackberry an earthy mix. Unbalanced, absolutely, but every sip was actually enjoyable.
Will obviously open up and balance out to a deeper styled wine. — 9 years ago
Very good. Served with homemade Mediterranean food. Incroyable! — 6 years ago

Another level... Still dense at the core, with steady, attractive bricking: Wonderfully dense nose of blackcurrents, pencil shavings, fine tanned leather, and a hint of woodland floor (fine moss, leaves, and fresh soil after an autumn shower). Velvety tannins and great acidity. Along with the '66 this is one of my all-time favourite Bordeaux vintages. Seems to be keeping up better than the '61s I've had over the last few years!
We drank half of it from the coravin before waxing the top in case the cork had lost too much elasticity to self-seal. I'll have the rest with my brother in a few weeks' time! — 9 years ago

Ginjo sake is one rank less purified than Daiginjo. This sake is very peach fruity sweet and is perfect for a sweet tooth like me. Recommended for sake beginners. Serve cold. — 6 years ago
