Subtile sweetness. Black fruits. Caramel. Nice appetiser — 9 years ago
Rustic black fruit with tobacco leaf and aged leather. Really nice quality fruit and restraint on the winemaking. Place this in California and you would pay double. These are grapes used for Dow's. — 11 years ago

Bit darker and less sweet than I was expecting, but I found myself reaching for glass after glass. Heavy and sits on the back roof of my palate. Initial aroma reminded me of wine served at Catholic mass — 8 years ago

Very smooth. Less sugary than dow's reserve tawny. Much more rich but not overwhelming. — 12 years ago
One of my favorite, "reasonable" tawnys. Great witch cheese & fruit or to sip after dinner. — 13 years ago
