Bringing back the chardonna 31 years making wine Chris phelps has been on board since. 2003 ripe tropical fruit with vanilla bean creme brûlée notes notes of banana graduate of uv David off to Bordeaux yo study under Christian Moeux then on to dominus and then yto Caymus. Merlot is the reason He is back. Nicely balanced Chardonnay with a nice touch of lightly toasted oak spice. Everything you'd want in a cab and from an under appreciated cab region that simplistically is know only for Malbec. I would put this up against any of the well know Cali cabs that are 50-100% more. Definitely more Cali in style with fruit playing more forward role. Next time you reach for Insignia or Dominus try this instead. I think you'll be pleased. — 9 years ago
