Nice and fresh, another bottle proving 2016 is better than 2015 to my palate in Beaujolais. — 7 years ago
Just fucking great mate. Nuff said... — 8 years ago
Slight horse on the nose to begin with, with a shift towards bright fruit, and anise. Great length with well integrated tanins, low acidity and very mellow finish. Good stuff. — 8 years ago
I would usually hate this style but this is fantastic! — 9 years ago

Nose has smokey dry earth, dry lavender, old licorice, dried black cherry, ripe black currant, dried blackberry and (light) dried oak.
Palate has silky dried blackberry, ripe plum, black currant jam, (light) dark chocolate, dried blueberry and light tannins. Mouth coating texture. Future bottles should be 2023+
50% Grenache & 50% Mourvédre
Paired with a bottom round beef roast, slow cooked 8+ hours with autumn root vegetables and the au jus from the roast, thickened with a little of my own tomato paste, delicious. — 6 years ago
A lovely 2012 burgundy...beautiful with imported European cheese! — 8 years ago
This is beautifully built gamay with good density, touch of smokiness and nice grip. Friday night meatloaf never had it so good! — 9 years ago

So much going on in this awesome Chardonnay from Jura. For a second, green bell pepper and celery seed but then popcorn kernel and smokey tar. Chablis level acidity with a rich mouth coating carrying flavors of lemon, yellow apple, celery salt, and chamomile. — 7 years ago
It grew on me steadily. Light-bodied, bright, fruity, clean. — 8 years ago
Fantastic Rhone Valley wine. Notes of dark jammy plum, cedar and clove spice on the nose, with strawberry-rubarb, raspberry sorbet, pomegranate, and light minerally feel, medium plus body, high acidity, and a nice and smooth finish. Great with food, and with an hour decant, by itself. — 9 years ago
1995 Dom. Laurent NSG Les Vaucrains - The wine is showing beautifully. Still a bunch of primary notes, harmoniously integrated with some secondary tones. — 10 years ago
Give this one a little time. But it may be THE (or one of certainly) benchmark wines for the appellation. — 10 years ago

Phenomenal. A deep, concentrated cab franc with excellent structure. Drinks really well now with air, has at least 7+ years of evolution to go. Dark berries, mulberries and blackberries, lavender, cocoa, classic Loire bell pepper, leather, wet rock. Superb. — 5 years ago
