Volatile. A decanter shake removes some of the astringency, but I’m not sold, esp at these prices. — 5 months ago

Darker red fruit with cedar, mushrooms, and subtle forest floor. Spices and clove. An amazingly fresh wine worth enjoying now! — 3 months ago
Unusual wine. Very balanced. Gentle fruit and seamless all through to the finish. — 6 months ago
17 Very Meursault, not outstanding. Vintage? — 7 months ago
Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of a couple hours. The 2017 M-S-D Blanc pours a straw color with medium viscosity. On the nose, the wine is developing with fascinating notes of champagne cake, Comice pear, lemon zest, almond, and limestone earth. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long; laden with limestone minerals and grippy. Almost as if it is tannic! This is such a distinctive wine. I’m in love. Drink now through 2032. — 8 months ago

Aromas of fruit compote. Strong tannins, vine, but fresh. — 8 years ago
Previous bottle tasted a year ago in September 2024. Mid lemon in colour. Aromatics of struck match, white flowers, lemon and sea spray. Hasn’t got the delicious ripe fruit I am used to with Australian Chardonnay but it does have its charm and attraction in a more mineral restrained style. — 4 months ago
See previous Delectable notes. Mid lemon in colour - brilliant clarity. On the nose and palate notes of ripe grapefruit, fresh herbs, wet stone and minerals. Medium plus acidity. The following night it still retains the tension and power when initially tasted. — 4 months ago
