My last bottle was 3 years ago and I said it needed a long decant. That’s no longer needed! This wine is drinking fantastic right now pnp. Tannins have softened but still have a bit of an edge mid palate. Fruit is big and juicy and ripe, black and red, with hints of blue coming through as it opens up. Graphite, black licorice, pencil shavings, pipe tobacco. Really lovely flavor and structure. Finish is a bit light but overall drinking in its prime now! And fantastic for a 2017. — 21 days ago
