The clay & limestone soils of Languedoc-Roussilon develop this soft and rich blend of 70% Syrah, 20% Grenache, 8% Mourvèdre, 2% Carignan. The Château Puech-Haut - Tête de Bélier red offers lots of black fruit, minerality with herbs on the finish. A nice surprise! — 6 years ago

Light salmon color. Tart on the palate with a mineral backbone. A satisfying acid finish. Clean and crisp, a classic French style rose’. — 7 years ago
Excellent white. Bright and peach-y, without the dullness, cloying texture and alc that can mar Rhône-style blends. Great value at €13 — 8 years ago
Sehr fruchtig frisch, eindeutiger Johannisbeergeschmack — 8 years ago
A Northern Rhône take on a Southern Rhône blend - less stewed fruit, more floral and herbal and nuance. Lovely. — 5 years ago
The nose is floral, violets, a touch of pepper and some strawberries, a nose very reminiscent of Syrah. The mouth is medium bodied, fresh, the tannins have a soft texture and overall the wine has very good balance. Great value for this 2017 from a very good producer of Cote Rôtie that also has this Languedoc domaine. Un nez de fraises, floral aussi, violettes et une touche poivrée. La bouche, qui a une belle fraîcheur, de corps moyen avec des tannins assez veloutés est délicieuse avec un bel équilibre. Beau rapport qualité prix. — 6 years ago

Great easy drinking red wine. Very well balanced! — 7 years ago
Strong Puech. Very well done. Makes me wanna taste more wines of that region. But nothing absolutely unforgettable when compared to similarly priced Bordeaux. — 8 years ago
Non ce male. tannicita morbido. Ma 17 dollari per una bicchiere sarebbe troppo caro al cigar bar. — 8 years ago
Great summer wine. Costco sale — 5 years ago
This wine is super nice to drink for apéros : it’s light, easy to drink, smells so good! The packaging is stunning! I think it makes a good present of it. Easy to stock in a big fridge and to add more wine already refreshed when necessary because of the package 😊 — 6 years ago
Very California. Very can or Shiraz. Bought for $15 and would gladly spend that much for a Chilean this good. Near Nimes — 6 years ago
Surprise, surprise, I love surprises! Pick this up for only $11 @ my local wine outfit. Tasted very similar to a Chateau Puech Haut les prestige that I bought years ago but for half the price. If you find this buy it, especially if it's $11! — 7 years ago
3.4. Lovely Langedoc red, with good spices and fruits. On sale for $19.99, regularly $21.99. — 7 years ago
