Muddy fruit, not bright, on the nose. Tart cherry on the palate. Long finish nice wine — 8 years ago

Wow exceptionally delicious. Very light . Would get a 10 but it's too light for that — 9 years ago

Beautifully structured with pronounced yet sweet tannins, spicy minerality and an acidic bite on the finish. Great length, really energetic and vibrant, with an expansive mid palate creating true balance. This will go another 15 years easily. Solid 95 point wine. — 8 years ago
Such a great wine, even in nights when I can't give it the attention it deserves. — 9 years ago

Wow. Enough said. Lots of life yet but I don't think it will get better. Tied for wine of the year. Perfect match with ribs. — 11 years ago
Good wine on an otherwise unlucky wine weekend — 7 years ago

Amiot burgundies are elegant and this one fits the bill. Drink cool. Cherry notes - bitter in a good way tannic, earl grey tea, chalky? Great stance oak well managed drinks like a premier cru. Much better then the 2011 I just checked my notes. If you have this one in your cellar consider yourself lucky but drink it now it is delicious. 🍷. — 8 years ago
Paired nicely with smoked quail egg that was marinated with wine.
