Bright fruit and cherry, earth notes, cream nose. Slight funk, beautiful cherry, cream, baking spices, honey notes. — 3 years ago

Structured, earthy, dark cherry. Lots of good stuff here but no magic for me. — 6 years ago
Wet forest floor on the nose. Very tannic suggesting better grape quality that would benefit from aging just like any good pc and gc obviously. Or maybe it was like only 50% destemmed. Like — 7 years ago
Maybe I’m not objective because of such fond memories of smelling this in the tank and tasting its two predecessors en barrique with Hubert on our honeymoon. But I can’t imagine this being any better than it was last night on our 25th anniversary. — 7 months ago
Comes out earthy and a touch funky, which fades with time open, leaving behind pure brambly berry fruit. Delicate, with good concentration and length. — 3 years ago
Really liked it a lot. Would like more to hold for a few years. — 5 years ago
Minerality! — 5 years ago
From half bottle. Heavy SO2 that blows off with some air, which does the wine good in general. Ripe lemons and cinnamon spiced baked pear. The malo and battonage are more pronounced than the oak. The ‘15’s are out of control. A diva vintage for Burgundy. — 7 years ago
Still full of amazing fruit flavours, strawberries, cherries, spice notes — 8 months ago
1986 vintage. Intoxicating perfume of crushed strawberries and sweet roses at the height of the bloom. Profound with layered fruit and velvety tannin, delicate and concentrated at the same time. Very long. An amazing effort for the vintage, that in Decanter is described as "a large crop of indifferent quality with poor concentration". Highly recommended. — 2 years ago
A bit closed up but really enjoyable. Red fruit and earth. Tannic. — 6 years ago
Wow. Texture and process in complete harmony with fruit. — 8 years ago

Way too young but it will develop into something quite remarkable! Bit darker than your average red Burgundy, wild strawberries, cherry, black raspberries, black tea, liquorice and spices. Highly concentrated and delicious. — 6 months ago
