What an absolutely beautiful Pinot Noir. We had the 2016 vintage. Amazing after every pour, the more the bottle opened up. I ate a beautiful skate fish whilst my friend enjoyed her pheasant. — 6 months ago
Bright fruit and cherry, earth notes, cream nose. Slight funk, beautiful cherry, cream, baking spices, honey notes. — 2 years ago
Comes out earthy and a touch funky, which fades with time open, leaving behind pure brambly berry fruit. Delicate, with good concentration and length. — 2 years ago
Wet forest floor on the nose. Very tannic suggesting better grape quality that would benefit from aging just like any good pc and gc obviously. Or maybe it was like only 50% destemmed. Like — 6 years ago
Not sure the half bottle is enough…but good with the duck mousse — 6 months ago
1986 vintage. Intoxicating perfume of crushed strawberries and sweet roses at the height of the bloom. Profound with layered fruit and velvety tannin, delicate and concentrated at the same time. Very long. An amazing effort for the vintage, that in Decanter is described as "a large crop of indifferent quality with poor concentration". Highly recommended. — a year ago
Really liked it a lot. Would like more to hold for a few years. — 4 years ago
Structured, earthy, dark cherry. Lots of good stuff here but no magic for me. — 5 years ago
Classic Chambertin. Cherry flavors, Red licorice , a bit of Spice and Woody tones. Decanted for 45 mins and its getting better with every glass. — 7 years ago

Not bad but paled vs the 96 Rousseau Chambertin. A little match stick in the nose, disjointed. Beefy and young still but not fun at the moment. — 5 months ago
