Nariz con aromas manzana, pera y melon con algo gramoso y/o hierbas frescas. Fruta fresca. En la boca acidez notable con aspectos citricos y de mineral. Largo en boca. Muy bueno. ( Ambrosia) — 8 years ago

Bedutiful not too dry — 10 years ago
Phenomenal, rich and viscous but balanced with nice acidity and alcohol feels subtle (14%). Aromas of dried spicy apricot and roasted pear. Made of primarily Poulsard as Jean-Francois describes this grape as lending the best flavor. — 11 years ago
Very mature, full and elegant — 12 years ago
Sandy, decomposed granite soils. Richly textured with a firm, tannic backbone support its dense fruit. Ripe, pushing soaked, black fruit, roasted meat, garrigue, talcum, menthol, violet, leather, and loads of pepper. There’s a firm thread of granite and sanguine throughout. This is wound up, I love the texture though, grainy and raw. It needs some time to harmonize its finish. Baby Hermitage! — 5 years ago
Had bottle at home with soba noodles and salmon. Delicious. — 8 years ago
One of my favorite dinners was on the menu here at Chez Skip - cassoulet! And my knowledge of wine pairing is as sophisticated as a toddler eating spaghetti, I said to myself - hey I am eating French food and I like this French wine, so hey why not? And that was that. But as wine can be, it evoked its memory of when I had it first. I remember sitting out in the patio and being impressed with it. I thought to myself I could really enjoy French wines, but as history has shown, that was clearly a short lived notion.
Knowing it had been some time, I had an odd feeling, so I checked my Delectable history. Indeed, this was the very first wine I had rated!
So, to my friends, do you remember your first wine on here? Was it anything memorable? @philip Angino @Martin A. Has kept acid levels and vivacity well. Have tried about one per year from this vintage since released and this was the best one yet. I love the Chalonnaise!! — 5 years ago
