Typical santenay flavor characteristics $39 — 9 years ago
Verjus like nose and on the palate when first opens. Subsides, but still great acid throughout. Opens into apricot honey, flowers, a touch of minerality and creaminess on the nose. Lemon and grapefruit followed by apricot on the mid palate through the finis. A touch of honey and lactic acid to round it out. Very complex and balanced village level puligny

Super smooth and unctuous. Floral perfume at first but faded eventually. A lot of oak out front with wood and mineral undertones. — 5 years ago
A well made CM. Fresh and aromatic. — 6 years ago
Had at a Musar tasting at Terroir with Marc Hochar. Nice cab / cinsault / Grenache blend. Relatively smooth tannins with some funk. — 7 years ago

Excellent white Burgundy from Cote-D’Or France. Not bitter or too sweet. It’s a light perfect white wine. Robert Morris brought it for me from France. — 5 years ago
Much more minerality than expected; fantastic balance I would have placed in a Meursault than Saint Aubin. — 6 years ago

Golden brown buttery lemon that went very well with scallops pea pods and bacon. Excellent choice @Todd Abrams. Revisited on 5/24/18. With a slightly refined palate this was butterscotch with a hint of rust/iron. Still drinking really well. — 9 years ago

Happy birthday to me! This premier cru demonstrates all of the subtleties and clarities that make great burgundy great. Smelling this wine was like being in a field of hay and strawberries on a crisp spring day; drinking it was like making slow, tender love to an electrical outlet. Stays in your nose’s mind and lingers on your palate far longer than you would expect a delicate ten year old white wine to do. Nothing overpowering whatsoever, everything perfectly harmonious. Thanks Chris! — 5 years ago
