Deep garnet color, high acidity and still plenty of tannins. Smell of red fruit, cedar, flint. Medium full body, some tertiary flavors mixed with red fruit, plum, pomegranate, espresso . Long finish — 8 months ago

Perhaps the most interesting & intriguing older wine/Barolo I’ve had in memory. It showed its tannin profile and fruit. Tart and just gently sweet cherries, tomato leaf, soft, almost sweet tarriness, light tobacco & leather. Group intrigue. Special.

Probably the best bottle of this I’ve had. Perfectly matured classical Rioja. Black cherries, some caramel, no tannins left and piercing acidity. — 5 years ago
No formal notes. Sweet mix of black/red fruit, ripe yet assertive tannins, nice mid-palate juice, leathery. Structured and quiet now, shows potential. — 6 years ago
Super delicious! Relatively clean and precise. Great balance with uplifting, fresh character. — 7 years ago
This is a lovely prosecco that I can actually enjoy on its own rather than in an amaro spritz or mimosa. Effusive nose with nice citrus and floral aromas. Lemon bar, florals, and hints of almond praline on the palate, and the bubbles provide a creamy mouthfeel. Good finish with lingering floral notes. — 3 months ago

Fresh red berry notes, fruit-forward quality. Rustic earthy with hints of herb. Bright, lively acidity. Refreshing and easy to sip. It was great with light pasta! — 9 months ago
Lighter than most barolo. Went well with a banana pepper risotto / spicy Remoulade. Enjoyed — 2 years ago
Delicious, lush, and savory. Good Barbera acids, prune, stewed cherry, cola/black tea, wet earth and some mushroom, Piedmont tar, some minerals. From Amaro Spirits and Wine. 01/29/22 — 5 years ago
Maybe a bit past prime. Not much depth. Still fun to drink. — 7 years ago
Delicate and refined. Not what I am use to with wines from Jumilla. However, age has likely mellowed this one out. Slightly past it’s prime perhaps, but reminds me of a nice Barolo. — 7 years ago

I give this a 9 based on the price point of $15 glass. It’s yummy. Would love to find this retail. I’ve had many many times at my local restaurant. — 18 days ago
