Drank this at the brewery in Bamburg, Germany on our 2018 Viking Cities of Light River Cruise, and brought this bottle home to drink with my sons — 6 years ago
Great wine- would love to taste in a few years. Plush, ripe, black and red cherry with nice spice undertones and a good amount of soft tannins. Well balanced structure and not as over the top as most paso reds. — 8 years ago
Very nice. Easy drinking. — 4 years ago
A genius Klingelberger. What a nose. So floral. Flower shop levels. Little shop of insane dry Riesling. Gorgeous Mosel like fruit. Smells ripe and sweet but also bone dry. Green apples. Pear. Apricot. So vivid and detailed. Just wonderful. Lime blossom, sweet lime. Endless aromas. Fresh field level 10. But also rock quarry. Staggering young Klingelberger aromas. Palate is epic like a Norwegian Viking documentary epic. Dense, structured, deep man is this deep with just stunning purity and freshness. So vivid and so detailed. This is god level balance. So long. Never ends. The purity of this wine is just incredible. Amazing finesse and elegance and screamingly mineral and very very complex on the finish. This is a staggering young Klingelberger. 9.7. Yup. Just genius. Amazing concentration and depth. Really I can’t get over how good this is. — 5 years ago
A Viking grandpa, greets the palate like a big warrior demanding to be taken seriously. Kind of rough, but you don’t want to argue with him. Then he sits down, gives you a hug, and is sweet in the end. Thank you, Viking Grandpa. — 6 years ago
Pineapple finish. Refreshing. — 7 years ago

Dried fruit, smooth finish. — 8 years ago
This Danish Mead is a delicious dessert wine! It’s similar to port with a nice honey flavor. I prefer it to port wine. It’s something you can pour over vanilla ice cream, fruit, add to a hot cup of tea or sip over ice! My Viking ancestors were calling to me to give it a try. I am always looking for white wine with notes of honey and now I know why! Skål!! — 4 years ago
Cassis and dark cherries. Very earthy old world finish. Viking. — 6 years ago
Bouquet of dark currents. Medium dry upfront then a light current jam middle then a medium dry finish. Viking. — 6 years ago
A dry Riesling. Drank on the Viking Gullvieg ship — 6 years ago
Stunning. If a wine could be a Viking Warrior this is it. Stoic and intense. Huge nose of intense lime zest and doubly intense oyster minerality. It reeks of minerals. Meyer lemon and lemon candy. Phenomenal nose. Palate is just brilliant. Insane minerality and sweet lime fruit and some sweet Granny Smith Apple as well. So many minerals they appear as sweet. Powerful and structured but also insanely elegant. This is really in a spot. No rush. — 6 years ago
Great value for the money. Drinkable. Unpretentious. — 8 years ago
Nice alternative to Champagne. Not as mineral or precise, but delicious nonetheless. — 9 years ago
