Drinks like a Pinot Noir but more full bodied like a Malbec. Low acidity. — 10 years ago
One of THE superb values in the US market for Hautes Côtes de Nuits. This is the Saint Martin Monopole which delivers serious gravitas and value. Lemon oil, golden apple, white flowers, honey and butterscotch delivered with very fine acidity and seamless texture. Mouthfeel is silky and superb. — 6 years ago
Really delicious 2011. Just singing right now. Fruit in full swing but depth and acid balance. Bottle was gone before I knew it. — 7 years ago

Some smoky flint and poultry jumping out of the glass, the initial off-gas as this bloomed beautifully. Lean and muscular, no fat, no human hands present here. Highly recommended. Iroulewhat?! Who would've known? Thanks kermit. Fried food for the win. — 9 years ago
