Pretty picture of the vineyard with all those hills in the background and sign that it was formed in 1815 the year of Waterloo. That's impressive. Tradition that is. Wine complements the food. A big and structured wine. Aromas of cherries, roasted coffee and fresh herbs. Broad-shouldered and chewy, with good mid-palate depth and firm tannins - plenty of length and grip on the finish. The wine seems nicely balanced, and should age very well. — 11 years ago
