Hickory dickory dock this wine was ripe and chock, full of cherry, and other kinds of berry, and paired so well my pan-roasted...pork. Young enough that the hint of oak was slightly out of balance. The final 100ml was gorgeous. Well worth the price of admission. — 11 years ago

Welcome to my review. Today we are drinking a chardonnay by Rombauer. I am used to drinking their cabs but not their chards. The boquet is greatfruit and pears. The initial palate is wonderful. Smooth creamy butter and beautiful crisp green apple finish. I can almost taste the grape in this wine... It does not have that traditional sharp Chard tongue squeezing chard finish. Very mild! Very good cold and served atbthe dock on a sunny hot day. I twist on your regular chardonnay. — 11 years ago
