Holy crap! At 5.5 years old this has come alive. Wow. Stunning ethereal nose of white flowers, lanolin like in a Roches Neuves single vineyard Saumur Blanc, hint of grapefruit, some sweet greens, lemon zest, so complex. 9.4 on nose alone. What a palate though. Stunning in its elegance and finesse. So chisled and clean with opulence, depth and slamming acidity to bring it all home. Exquisite inner mouth perfume. Complex like nothing else and so juicy. This is as epic as I've ever had a wine from Franken. Holy crap this is good. — 8 years ago

A departure from the brioche breadiness of some of the Côte des Blancs' more famous grandes maisons. PG & F also sets itself apart due to the high percentage of old vines at their relatively small estate, in a region suffering from a plethora of young vineyards. Crisp clean refreshing fruit forward. Great expression of Blanc de Blancs perfect at the raw bar — 10 years ago
Beautifully dry Chenin. Classic rubber tire finish on the nose; green and yellow fruits on the palate; lots of rocks. Not too complex for everyday drinking but not too simplistic for some contemplation. — 10 years ago
