Concentrated yet subtle fruit: black currant, black olive, raspberry. Pretty nose: bruised rose petals, wet earth. Dense and velvety at the same time keen, balanced and refined. Showing what old Grenache vines can do 👌🏻 Would expect no less from a partnership between the Bruniers & Kermit Lynch. Enjoyed at the very spot where they plotted the purchase of the domaine. Lovely wine for cheese (hard cheese such as tome de Savoie, gruyère or Appenzell or soft goat cheese). A dry wine with a first acidic attack but then is very round and full of citrus aromas. It is rather thick despite its very clear and light Yellowstone​ color - do not be fooled, it of a 13° vol which is quite powerful. I smell mostly grapefruit and almond. Very nice wine for such a reasonable price (14€ in France). Vive la France! — 8 years ago
