I was curious about longevity of this wine. Popped and poured and just delicious. — 4 years ago

Clos Vougeot 1994

A 1994. Incredibly delicious, round, and surprisingly still fresh enough to suggest it could have sat a year or two more if needed. Was lucky to have it. Thanks @Jason Miller — 6 years ago

Les Grandes Vignes Nuits-St.-Georges Pinot Noir 2007

From split opened half hour before consumption. Earth, red fruit, and a hint of funk. Smooth tannins; searing acidity. Probably could use another five years to achieve better balance. — 7 years ago

Les Hauts Prulliers Nuits St. Georges 1er Cru Pinot Noir 2012

Ripe, powerful, complex. Brilliant ruby-garnet. Haunting flavors, tremendous grip and persistence. Fruit-forward, black cherries and kirsch framed by limestone and earth and generously toasted oak. More defined flavors will emerge in a few years, but this is a complex and vibrant wine that will coat your palate aggressively with dense fruit. — 6 years ago

Hey, it's burg. Classic. Maybe a bit out of balance and too spendy for its level but it's a good drink. Not one for the ages. — 7 years ago

Pale lemon green in appearance. Very distinct nose with wax, crayon and a little bit of lemon. Balanced acidity (6/10) and medium bodied. Layered with minerality, spices, a touch wax with ton of citrus. Long finish. Drink till 2022. — 5 years ago

I loved this enigma. A white NSG is rare. Delicate nose and texture. Yes I agree regarding the bright acidity. That’s what’s holding this juice up. I rated this a 93. Great tipping a glass with you and yours, mate!!

Les Lavières Nuits St. Georges 1er Cru Pinot Noir

Nose: classic barnyard red fruits very distinctive to Burgundy. Palate: spice confirmed red fruits slightly underripe, such a bright acidity. Good balance. Had it paired with herb rubbed pork roast and broccoli & cauliflower, Herb stuffing and cheddar mashed potatoes. Heaven — 8 years ago

Really very excellent - great suggestion by the somm at Daniel. Pure and focused, with light red fruit (strawberry), silky smooth finish, with good acid. Perfect drinking window even without a decant. — 8 years ago
