you better have this vinery on your screen! one of my personal discoveries at vievinum 2014. super likeable winemakers (each of them in a bread-and-butter job with big names and at their own little estate as well).

homeplay. one of my favourite blaufränkisch!
for me comparable look and feel to prieler's "goldberg", which is a BIG yardstick! elegant, cool type with complex palate and just the right arc of suspense. makes me smile ~~

Tasted 13/01/2015

Inspired by previous discoveries of Russian wines, I've moved further and find something very unusual - blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay & Gewürtztraminer. It's NOT maturated in oak as one can guess seeing word "reserve" (pity, of course). What's inside? Sophisticated, elegant, fresh & crisp worthwhile white, pale lemon yellow coloured. 
Delicate nose of white plum, kumquat, chrysanthemum and touch of minerality.
 On well-balanced and live palate I've noted initial flash of mango and peach, followed by lime, white currant, white raspberry & lychee flavors.
 Lovely lingering citrus acidity on finish with minerals back.
 Paired finely with baked Karelian river trout and light homemade salad. — 9 years ago

This has been one of my greatest wine discoveries in many years. I tasted MC4 with a local wine merchant a couple of years ago and bought
a case on site. Wish I had bought more as now both the 12 and 13 are sold out. Having a bit of a love affair with this wine and I just can’t help myself from
