2012 Tarima Monastrelli (Alicante): very nice wine for about $8. It has an interesting depth, some nose and a decent (although not complex) finish. Kind of a no- brainer year after year for a deck or pizza wine. — 11 years ago

Meunier with power and grace! This 2007 had plenty of authority and texture balanced by fine drive and minerality. It went down very quickly with truffle popcorn and marcona almonds.

What a wine! Burgundy colored with a bit of beet and smoke on the nose, this delicate beauty found its strength with the duck confit. Still lively and a joy to drink, fully resolved tannin and good acidity!
