This is by far the best cheap ass wine there is. I think I paid only a few bucks for this excellent wine. Perfect for a BBQ or a grilled marinated steak. Tonight this great bottle went down with a 4lbs marinated London Broil, Papas Bravas, sweet potatoes, carrots, radishes. The wine was big thick juicy, not to sweet and with some funk in the back. Love it.

2012 Tarima Monastrelli (Alicante): very nice wine for about $8. It has an interesting depth, some nose and a decent (although not complex) finish. Kind of a no- brainer year after year for a deck or pizza wine.

(**) drinking very young, showing simple black fruit, moderately extracted, with aggressive tannins. Clumsily big alcohol and med + acidity. It's a farmhand looking for a brawl, but can't quite fill out his boots yet.

Good fruit and earth notes. Higher acid cuts through food nicely. Meet quality in the nose. High alcohol. Randomly no vintage to be found on the label. Found at Artichoke Cafe.
