Lemon, peach and stone. Nice mouth feel. Delicious — 2 years ago
Beautiful Zin all around. I find it a bit earthy but absolutely stunning. Wow, when I think “Zin” this is the taste, and I got it on sale for only $35! It’s pairing perfectly with my spicy Chinese food dinner. I’m imagining about 10 other dishes this will pair wonderfully with as well. — 4 years ago
Dark and fruity from my favourite region. We don’t get many varieties from MD Winery in Canada and this one tops what we get. Fruit forward and a solid finish. Will be adding a case or two to my cellar. Yup. It has legs and it worth the buy. — 5 years ago
Amazing Bordeaux blend. Very structured and balanced. Wine club from wine steward. Tries on 3-19-20 during Corona

Light, spicy red paired with turkey — 10 years ago
This was really lovely. Soft, but the fruit is still fresh and vibrant. A very special wine—happy it showed well. — 9 months ago
Light and dry but funky, almost yeasty tannins mixed with berries. Distinct old vine Chilean varietals that I would like to see more of. — 4 years ago
This is LV14. No dosage. A year and a half since my last btl, roughly. On the nose: melon, with creme fraiche, basil, meyer lemon, meyer lemon zest. Not sure I would believe BdB blind. Color suggests skin contact...almost soft peach. On the palate: aggressive mousse at first...maybe needed a decant. Lovely acidity, lime, bitter citrus, a touch short, and very juicy on the dense and tangy finish. A stunner. — 4 years ago
Deep ruby color. Faint hints of red and blue fruit as well as some earthiness on the nose. Maybe even a little herbaceousness. Flavors of dark cherries, blueberries, baking spices and dried herbs Very sleek tannins and nice acidity. ABV of 14.9 but it does not come across as too hot. I actually would like to try this again with a nice piece of grilled meat. — 6 years ago
Looooooved this. So bouncy and so pine-y! I drank it cold, like past the point of chilled, because no wine fridge or central air, and I thought it was perfect that way? — 7 years ago
10 September 2017. La Compagnie des Vins Surnaturels, New York, NY. — 8 years ago
Just baked blueberry muffin with cinnamon on the nose. Beautiful flavors of tea leaf, blueberry, baking spice and a little mocha on the palate. An extremely complex wine from Pritchard Hill. The tannins are ultra-sleek with a fantastic finish. We get some earthiness throughout the entire tasting process which adds to its complexity. Would love to put a case of this back for a decade to see how it matures. Love it!

So big and bold but fruity nonetheless. Loved it with a steak. — 2 years ago
An old standard in our household. Velvety smooth, rich juicy berries. Glad we can purchase Freakshow even at Costco in TX and have a solid, boozy Cab at the ready. — 4 years ago

Warm vintage cru Beaujolais sourced from a tiny plot in the Côte du Py vineyard. There’s a lot to be said about the fruit-forward spiciness, but for me the nuances are flattened by a richness I associate with a higher ABV - the wines that are coming to mind are Williams Selyem’s pinots rather than a Beaujolais or Burgundy. Not really for me but a worthwhile avenue to explore if you want to try a different, relatively subtler version of a big red. — 5 years ago
Wow... this was outstanding. A floral bouquet + honeycomb + chalk left out in the rain... And I haven’t even got to the tingly, acidic grace note yet. A wonderful complement to grilled halibut with lemon and asparagus. — 6 years ago

Really great fruit purity. Definitely young but damp earth, cherry and cured meat were well defined. Palate was elegant and toned. 4-5 years would do this well. — 8 years ago
The 2014 Sonoma County Pinot Noir had bright ruby and complex red berry fruit aromas with sweet earthy spice. The palate shows cherry, tart raspberry and strawberry flavors with citrus notes, pepper and nuttiness. The finish develops some toasty oak notes, minerality with firm tannins, well balanced coming together. Consistent quality year after year! A good value Pinot as retail is around $30, rivals some $50 bottles. — 8 years ago
Definitely needs to open up. Was sweet on the first sip. Significant fruit tones at the outset and got dry as it opened. I would give it a good half hour and drink and enjoy. Solid choice. — 9 years ago
Stinky, reductive, needs lots of air & time to breath. Funky cab franc which many won't like. — 10 years ago
