An old standard in our household. Velvety smooth, rich juicy berries. Glad we can purchase Freakshow even at Costco in TX and have a solid, boozy Cab at the ready. — 3 years ago

Outstanding smoky nose, lychee, kumquat, strawberries during a rainfall (marcel deiss exclusive note!), marmalade, honeydew melon, kerosene, the panoply of fruit notes goes on... A deep amber color, suggesting a heavyweight sweet wine, but the riveting acid and uncanny finesse of this wine gives it a buoyancy on the palate that is remarkable. Rich and long, seamless tapestry of lychee and marmalade and melon fruit notes, I find I'm running out of the bottle so fast...purchased as the star from the winery 2 years ago, will last easily 15 more years.
