Interesting. Some age on it now and a lovely amber color. Rich and oxidative. Not where my tastes have evolved but really quite good. — 4 years ago

The most striking thing about this wine was the very creamy, buttery brioche flavors, along with lemon and pear. Apparently achieved through natural malolactic fermentation, along with extended lees contact. No oak (yay!). Well balanced with nice crisp acidity. Age maybe accounts for the lovely gold hints in the color? All around delish! — 7 years ago
Leather, tinder box, licorice, white pepper. It’s soooo drinks like a CDP. Whatta beauty — 7 years ago
Columbia County 2.0: interesting drinking this day after a German Pinot, as I found them surprisingly related. A fave Beaujo producer’s Morgon, also a cooler tone & elegant. Blackberries & cassis, darker berries and a fine grittiness to integrated tannins. I like this drinking window (6 yrs) but imagine several if not more left. — 3 years ago

This was stunning. Caramel nose, with a rich, smooth finish. Fantastic with a tangy, spicy, coconut Indian fish curry. — 6 years ago
Ripe, dark fruit on the nose. Tart cherry a d ripe fruits. Nicely balanced. — 6 years ago
I was curious about longevity of this wine. Popped and poured and just delicious. — 6 years ago
Nothing better than a well aged Chardonnay and fatty, cold water fish. This bottle is our go to pairing for grilled steelhead trout.
Nose is evolving since my prior post, oxidized green apple peel and cold caramel.
Palate is lightly sweet lemon curd/custard, baked red apple, cooked lemon, warm granite dust and a zing of acidity on the close.
Our feline house managers pestered for comfortable portions on the trout, they are good boys and girls, generally, so we endulge.
Great night listening to Hugh Masekela and Mongo Santamaria on the HiFi, everything complimented!
One bottle left, then we move along to the next vintage. — 7 years ago

Matured Chablis. Well integrated, and complex. harmonious texture underlined integrated acidity. — 4 years ago
Really solid. Polished and silky, but earthy and mineral and rustic too. Held up for days. Structured but not impenetrable; could age, but I didn’t eat the baby. Good work in a sloppy hot year. Bouland deserves more attention; I think he’s surpassing a few of the heirs to the gang. — 5 years ago
A lot going on the nose. Red fruit, black fruit, meat, leather. Would be a good wintertime wine. Too bad they’re sold out at Kermit Lynch. Devin gave it 💯 — 6 years ago
$45 bottle; was much lighter than other CdP, more like a Pinot. — 7 years ago
D'abord des fruits puis la réglisse, équilibre... Plaisir ! Exceptionnel. — 7 years ago
