Crooked Vine is my second favorite Cab. It's been a while since I had a bottle, but it is a nice complex Cab. — 9 years ago
Smells jammy but goes down smooth. A little spicy. Easy to drink for any new friend of reds. — 9 years ago
Solid, but fell a bit flat compared to the Nightmare on Brett aged in Port barrels. This was Batch 5 from June 2015. — 10 years ago
An absolute dream. It smells like it wants to go to a campfire. — 7 years ago
Cherry berry very nice. A little on the hot side but good. — 7 years ago

May 2015 Batch 4 - dark sour ale aged in red wine barrels. Perfectly balanced sour with mouth coating combo of cherry, spice and a hint of wood. — 10 years ago
Byron C Mayes
Bright yellow gold. Nose of baked quince and light butterscotch. Echoed on the full-bodied palate with a good backbone of medium plus acidity wrapped up inside. A rare bird in California Chardonnays in that it gives body, fruit, oak, and food-friendly freshness without overloading in any of them. I’m not always a fan of Wagner family works, but this under-the-radar Chardonnay is actually a good representation of the style. Good enough at regular price, but a steal when it’s on sale. Drink now through 2021. — 6 years ago
