Crowd pleasing complex Chianti. Blend of Sangiovese (85%), Merlot (10%) and Colorino (5%). Aromas of dark berries, dry earth, black olives, leather and rosemary. Dried black cherry envelopes the pallet along with touches of dried cranberries, black licorice and tobacco. Soft tannins and well balanced/fresh acidity. Thank You, Ron B. Revisited in August 2022. Dark red fruits like ripe plum with bay leaf in the background; medium acidity with a fantastically chewy mouthfeel, almost grainy. For 11$ & change on sale, high return QPR.
