Fresh berries and herbs. Earthy mineral, soft tannins, leather, white pepper and coca cola. Burgundian style winemaking and Rhône grapes is what Birichino is about. And I love it! — 5 years ago

Small producer, mix of lambruscos and a hint of magic? Dark berries and Coca Cola. Macerated dark berries. And the texture of Lambrusco ever so tantalizingly plush with tiny bubbles. This wine is the crushed velvet frock I wore to high school as a goth—dark, soft, and you can’t stop drinking/wearing it. It’s comfy and hot — 7 years ago
Color : White
Wine estate : Coca I Fitó
Designation : Terra Alta
Name : Jaspi d'Or
Country : Spain
Vivino : 4/5
Note : With 80% of Grenache Blanc, it's almost like a white Châteauneuf. A golden robe, a peachy nose. Once in the mouth, the floral side is revealed with candied citrus notes. Beautiful minerality and expression. — 7 years ago
Head to head with 1999z I prefer 1999 ania 2012. Great nose. Wow. Cherry red fruit Coca Cola beautiful brunello with depth. I prefer 1999 but awesome — 5 years ago
Oh crud I wrote a long thing about Ravenswood being family but like a family that...nevermind I cut it and apparently not in a way to paste.
Generously dried fruity. Coca Cola. Those in between tannins and abv and you, blind tasted might think it a friendly Cali blend but hell its just friendly. — 5 years ago
Pale gold. Major juicy pineapple and other tropical fruit forward. Medium bodied and dry with tight acidity. Long floral finish. — 5 years ago
Abundant nose of ripe cherries, coca cola and hints of vanilla. Medium to full bodied, concentrated ripe cherries, good acidity and gripping tannin to keep the fruit in check. Oak is quite well integrated. Still feels young and fresh. I would have loved to see a bit more complexity, perhaps it will come with age. — 6 years ago
Fruity at first... But calms down considerably for a dry and wonderful finish. Love it — 6 years ago
Rosigt, lite salmiak, viol, lite coca cola, läder. Go i flabben. Lite jenka? — 7 years ago
Layers upon layers! Smelled BAD when on opening, like raspberry vinegar and wet wool, and I thought it was kicked, then it kept changing for the better every 30 minutes for hours. Goat farmy then Coca Cola then a berry reduction, just a wonderful wine. — 5 years ago
@delectable this is the Piesport Pinot Noir. I don’t know what distinguishes this but it’s not one of their reserve bottles. Still cherry focused, cherry cola. Some blood. Some dried rose and lots of dead leaves. Has developed some secondary notes: plums, cooked and dried fruits. It’s spot on. Good acids. Very fine tannins, very resolved. Not terribly demanding but just right. At this price I wish I could have one per week. The second day it gets plummier and takes on dried, peppery, beefy notes, like drinking magical Coca-Cola. Would be great at wu’s wonton house.

Pretty deep, dark intense Grenache. More earthy than fruity, but with hints of plum. Moderate tannins with a moderate finish. — 6 years ago
@Delectable Wine : This is the Equinox Oakville Merlot. I didn’t see it in the database.
Wednesday Wine Committee. 1 sparkler, 3 whites, 4 reds and 1 dessert wine. Blind as usual.
Mint and eucalyptus really spring from the glass with old graham cracker, coca dusted dates and clay. The fruit was red and black and very muddled but not overly ripe. Black cherry finish. I called this old Aussie cab. — 6 years ago
Really loved this funky tempraniillo, juicy, bold and structured — 7 years ago

Dark fruit with just a hint of oak with spices, and coca cola slightly. The wine is powerful, acidity is there and the ripe dark red fruit adds freshness to that full palate. The finish that is delicious, has a rustic side and some grip reminiscent of a good Nuits St-Georges. Despite that, a wine I really like in this vintage that has not yet convinced me. 90-91
