Decanted with a venturi. Very good but agree it is a bit fruit forward. 2013 in Dec 2016 — 8 years ago
Took @Paul T advice and laid this lay down for about a month, ran through Venturi. Some what light on the nose-traces elements of black fruits and alcohol. Jammy profile of that same black fruits on the palate. Slightly one dimensional with the tannins and acidity in great harmony. Soft finish that goes...despite its simplicity this is so good! — 8 years ago
Delicious and dry, not too sweet but great berry undertones. — 9 years ago
Dark ruby color in the glass. Venturi decanted...Slight wild game hint on the nose, roses and minerals. Light body with full flavors of black cherry, cola and spice. Perfect acidity and tannins round out a spiced smooth finish. @Failla Wines — 9 years ago
2014--used Venturi and decanted 1 hour ( not ready at 40 min ). Superb, appears to be great vintage. Raspberry, Rainier Cherry, floral and quite spicy (cinnamon, clove). Beautiful long smooth finish. — 9 years ago
Tres surpris par ce vin Corse. Excellent. — 10 years ago
Excellent. — 10 years ago
Better than the first time I tried this. Not sure if it has matured a bit or if the Venturi aerated it more. Nice stuff. — 10 years ago
Had the "back" version last night, thought it quite good, saw the "red" version today at Costco, also quite good. surprisingly using a "venturi" aireator seemed to help even this less expensive bottle. — 10 years ago
Good wine for price point. Opened up perfectly did not need to Venturi or air. Will buy again — 7 years ago
Blackberry with hints of raspberry and and black cherry. Very nice ... should have decanted rather than Venturi. Would benefit from opening up a bit more. Finesse, mineral complexity balanced acidity and serious length. Andrew Will wines are fabulous!! — 8 years ago
I really enjoyed the taste of this not too sweet sparkler. — 9 years ago
Really glad I did a little venturi. Full of fruit, nice mouthfeel. This is a delicious Merlot/Cab Franc treat! Probably should drink within 2-3 years. — 9 years ago
Delicious rose. — 9 years ago
Very rare grapes in California- only 85 acres- very smooth — 9 years ago
This is one of the smoothest deep reds I've tried. Love it poured through my Venturi.

Amazing—perfectly dry and oaky. Pairs amazingly with red-sauce pizzas and the Fig at Pizzeria Venturi — 10 years ago

Nice zin that gets better through the Venturi — 12 years ago
With the Venturi this wine was beautiful instantly! — 7 years ago
11 years old and drinking really well. Tons of darker fruit. Nice wine! — 8 years ago
Fully matured at this point. True classic Oakville Cab. Ran through Venturi and really opened up, decant is a must. Quintessential Napa/Oakville aged nose of Luxurdo Cherries, black olives, blackberry and plowed field. Tannins are nearly undetectable yet still balanced acidity and fruit on the palate. Mouth of sweet pipe tobacco, cassis and cedar. Soft finish that comes than goes. Cellared since release. Drink em if you got em. — 8 years ago
As expected, heavy sediment stuck to the bottle. Two hour decant ran through Venturi. Jet black in the glass, cinnamon, chalk and green veggies on the nose- no signs of age. Black currant, French roast and earth fills out the palette. Amazed that the tannins and acidity are in harmony. Distinct, lingering finish that goes on and never ends with smoke being the highlight. The time is now. @Jennifer Saxby — 9 years ago
First ever Charbono and still figuring out the best way to classify and remember it. A definite smooth finish but still medium to medium high tannins, which can easily be from a young wine. Flavors on the nose were not as complex as I expected but definitely complex on the palate - but of cherry, leather, smoke and dark berries. — 9 years ago
One of Mendocino county's hidden gems. — 10 years ago
Not a huge cab. Medium- bodied, beautiful fruit and balanced tannins. Delightful. Decanted through s Venturi for a few hours — 10 years ago
Nice sharp flavor, crisp. Pairs great with food without being too heavily bodied. Notes of pepper, low tannins. — 10 years ago

Super jammy with a good amount of acid. Taste sour cherries as well. Great for a Friday night where we opened it while we were cooking and finished it with dinner. — 6 years ago
