Suckling says 93. It’s not. Good though. Dry. Nice earth/fruit balance. — 8 years ago

#theoldmanswine. Really nice showing. Truthfully this was in contention for wine of the night. (For me anyway). Part of a flight of 93s because hey 93, but they all didnt really gel for me the way they should have. — 9 years ago

A blend of 93% Cabernet Sauvignon, 2% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot, deep dense red with aromas of dark fruits, spice and oak with hints of sweetness. On the palate, ripe blackberry, cherry and sweet raspberry flavors, fragrant cedar, tobacco and cacao round out the taste. Firm yet supple tannins with integrated acidity carry this elegant wine to a lingering finish ending with earthy oak tones. Will age well for another decade. Tasting Sample. — 9 years ago

A ”mid range” Priorat from Terroir Al Limit of 4,684 bottles s that we tasted at the winery but much better at home & as good as the 2014 we had a month ago but showing more red fruits & slightly more depth in body but freshener & dryer as it needs a few years 😍 For €53 this is just superb 👏 it screams elegance 💖 Another winner from @gabymeetswine @vilaviniteca

Always consistently great with pepper and good spicy finish — 10 years ago
Magnum. Initially a 93 rating and then falls apart after 1.5 hours and becomes an 89. Lovely, classic , delicate, herbal Bordeaux. Rich and balanced initially and then declines rapidly. Very sad. — 10 years ago

#dfwe2018 — 7 years ago
After another day shopping with Mrs E we were not only worn out but broke so to McDonalds we went & I grabbed the new €44 Pardo Enea to pair with the burger 🍔 & enjoy in our hotel room at 11pm - dinner with style 🤣 better than the thick shake 😊
📍 Muga Pardo Enea 2010 (not decanted - wish I’d brought my 😉😉 vSpin)

(04.10.2017) — 8 years ago
Tasted at Chateau.
65 CS 36 M 2 CF.
Deep and dark crimson, opaque, compact rim.
Superb bouquet of creme de cassis, crushed ripe dark fruits, earthy aromas, smoke, with savory/umami sensation.
Structurally this wine is still a toddler. Ripe but teeth staining tannin, med plus plus acidity, full bodied, dry. The mouthfeel is laser-sharp focused. Cassis, smoke, graphite, with a good amount of dried herb. Incredible length.
The Chateau believes 2010 is their best wine ever. Not really hard to see why. Do not touch this for another 10 years at least. 93++ — 9 years ago
One of my favourite 🇨🇱 wines 👍 @ £55 worth every penny - great now but will be superb in 4-5yrs 😎

My favourite Cotes De Bourg wine in a top vintage @ £60 😁 will keep improving 👍 If you’ve never tried this tiny region of Bordeaux you should check it out as there are some great value bottles here; this being one of the more expensive as made by the folks behind Tertre Roteboeuf 😎
