Dried currents & honey. Dessert in a bottle. Enjoy in small doses. Delicious. — 10 years ago
The wine’s nose is vibrant and fresh with nutty aromas of yeast and salinity. A raisiny note adds counterpoint. On the palate it is rich and substantial. It’s very, very dry and has quite a long finish. — 10 years ago

Exceptional single-vineyard Manzanilla. Bone dry with an agile depth and weight. After 12-14 years in the solera this has a nearly endless finish. Aged manchego, chorizo, Andalusian tripe - versatile and dramatically lovely — 9 years ago

I wish this style was more common. Combines everything there is to love about fino sherry (salty, nutty, oxidative) in a lower alcohol package at 11.5%. — 10 years ago
Mahogany color with molasses, caramel, espresso, bittersweet chocolate and subtle baking spice aromas. On the palate it's full bodied, viscous, and very persistent with a supple mouth feel that's beautifully balanced with a penetrating acidity that keep it from being cloying and persistent with very good acidity that keeps it from being cloying and provides balance. It shows very sweet flavors of molasses, honey-dipped figs, dates, caramel, and baking spice nuanced citrus note with a kiss of oxidation that adds to its allure and complexity. Long finish — 10 years ago
