When you’re in the smoke (London), white burgs are front and center. @David L, @Bill Bender, @Shay A, @Mike R, @Joe Lucca, @Carl Fischer, @Eric LaMasters, and @Shawn R would wet their pants over this. Killer expression of burg. Regal, pristine and focused. Extends and expands on the palate. Head-spinning presentation - Chelsea, London. — 5 years ago
Dark fruit and tobacco on nose, would swear it’s a cab based on the nose. Soft fruit with a nice tannic backbone. — 6 years ago
What an interesting wine! It rounded off a wonderful evening with dear friends at Rouge Tomate in Chelsea, NYC, where the service was as excellent as always. This sherry was made from a famed solera called "GF30" that apparently dated back to the 1940s. Such complexity and intensity. Orange peel, toast, walnuts, salinity, and so much more. A real treat. — 8 years ago

I just grabbed it from the wine cellar not really knowing much about it. Gave myself a manicure and wanted to drink wine while doing it. I finished the entire bottle. It was freaking amazing!!! And apparently around $100. Oops. No regrets. Positively exquisite! Full bodied. Lots of terroir. (Dirt). Earthy. Love love love!! Too bad this vintage is sold out. — 5 years ago
Deep ruby; medium plus intensity aromas of juicy black fruit and intense perfume, blackberry, mulberry, ripe raspberry, purple and pink flowers; dry, medium acid, medium tannins, medium alcohol, medium body, medium plus intensity flavors of ripe black fruit and perfumed florals; long finish, very well balanced, elegant, outstanding — 6 years ago
Very dry, some hints of berries, perfectly suited to rosé the day away. — 7 years ago

Wow did this age nicely. Smooth with a nice kick at the end. So glad we found this at a wine shop in Chelsea. — 8 years ago
12/26 very good, the bottle from Meg’s mystery friend from her girls party. Would not pay 4x Goldschmidt though! — 5 years ago

Balanced fruit and earth tones. Smooth finish — 6 years ago
Young wine with mild OH on the nose paired with very nice fruit. Plums, prunes, and blackberry on the palate, but lighter than most cabs. Nice finish, and the recommendation was spot on as this wine definitely punches above it's weight at $20+. Curious as to other opinions. — 8 years ago
