Cherry, plum on the nose. Gentle, "dusty" is a good call.

Great wine. Full body fruit through the finish. Low tannins. We love the Alexander Valley. This is why.

Very drinkable Cab. Earthy with smooth tannins. Makes me crave a rare grilled steak to go with it.

Homemade bacon and egg omelette from a friend's farm, tomato & basil salad from the garden. The wine doesn't quite cut through the bacon (not enough acidity or possibly just too soft). Loads of dark strawberries and tannins. Bold magenta color, black tea on the nose and finish, black cherries through the middle. Likely needs a year or two in the bottle yet.
