This stuff was absolutely amazing. One of the best Alexander Valley wines I've had in quite some time! It was so young and and so much time ahead of it! I killed it anyway.
The nose was so enticing and floral - if not for the already beautiful aromas of baked black fruits, tobacco and leather, the immediate presence of menthol, or eucalyptus leaf was jettisoning out of the glass. The pallet was silky smooth, with all the tannins and oak perfectly integrated - cocoa, smoked blackberry, mint, gravel, and a lingering finish. Wish I had more of this, but it was a singular find. What a great wine, it sure put Jordan to shame.
