Archetypal Bordeaux - old world in style, but where the savory characteristics are well-integrated with common Bordeaux fruit notes. Well-structured and precise, with notes of blackberry, cassis, tobacco, cedar, and vanilla with a long, somewhat chalky finish. — 5 years ago

Yum - dirty in a great way, nice complexity and balance. — 9 years ago
1997 old vine Chablis - Lemon meringue pie, with some yellow apple. Less minerality than I expected but shows on the finish. Potentially starting to approach it's peak at this age. — 9 years ago
Give this one a little time. But it may be THE (or one of certainly) benchmark wines for the appellation. — 10 years ago

2022 vintage. Dark red, much deeper colour than usual for this estate. Marie-Laure Lurton seems to have gone for a bit more extraction in this exceptional vintage. More powerful than usual, with a fresh black fruit personality, embedded in a tight, ripe tannic structure. Serious length too. Decanting recommended,as it showed better the next day. Ab. 14%. — 9 months ago
2020 spring / summer. Really nice - I hadn’t had any de Moor in a while but this was at least as good as I remembered. Honeyed and savory, lots of chalky minerals — 5 years ago
Aerated and decanted for 2 hours. Drinking so nicely. Beautiful finish — 5 years ago

31 August 2017. Rouge Tomate, New York, NY. — 8 years ago
Juicy Grenache dominate aromas with red raspberry, strawberry and red cherry fruit. The nose has a nice herbal edge with notes of fresh and dried thyme plus a hint of soy. The wine has a plush mouthfeel with silky tannins. There is good acidity to buffer the fruit and a nice sense of minerality. — 9 years ago
Fantastic Bordeaux! Best with Italian wine salami (salami blanco) and similar meat. — 9 years ago

21 April 2017. Rouge Tomate, New York, NY. — 8 years ago
Spiced apple and pear dominate the palate upfront with a hint of white peach. Leading into that irresistible minerallity you often get from Loire Valley whites. Lively acidity on the finish keeps you coming back for more!!!! — 9 years ago
The wine needs air. Nice pairing of grapes, gamay offering enough fruit to cohabitate with pineau d'aunis rusticity. — 10 years ago
2007 vintage. Vieilles Vignes. Medium brick garnet hue. Herbal, white flower, white pepper, earthy and forest floor. Very attractive nose. On the palate, great balance of fruit and tannins - tight grain. Herbal character to the fore, black currant and slight mint. Good length. Ready to drink now as I think the fruit is starting to dry out. — 10 years ago
