On the palate, great balance of fruit and tannins - tight grain. Herbal character to the fore, black currant and slight mint. Good length. Juicy Grenache dominate aromas with red raspberry, strawberry and red cherry fruit. The nose has a nice herbal edge with notes of fresh and dried thyme plus a hint of soy. The wine has a plush mouthfeel with silky tannins. There is good acidity to buffer the fruit and a nice sense of minerality. — 10 years ago
