V12. Dusty white pepper and raspberry bouquet. Jammy, peppery fruit mash. Zingy, earthy finish. Big flavors, nice. — 10 years ago
Brilliant offering that may be the best within reach of most — 11 years ago
I couldn't wait and had to try one from the new shipment. Solid wine on night one, but pretty incredible on night three. I would recommend waiting a few years to let it reach its real potential. — 11 years ago
This wine is very delicious. — 12 years ago
Here is 2009 red blend from Chandler Reach. From Yakima Valley and perhaps Yaktown's better gift to us. Good dark fruit plum and date tones with spicy finish that lingers... for about a week. I like the 25% Cab Franc nice touch in the blend. — 10 years ago

Big rich classic Unico. Still youthful and needs 10 to 15 years to reach maturity. Solidly constructed. Lovely nose and finish. — 11 years ago
Beautiful wine, with a fantastic finish. I really believe that, for me personally, this will rate reach a 9.8-10 rating with just a few more years to mellow. — 11 years ago
Fruity, light and fresh — 12 years ago
Under the radar grape! Norton...savage, well, don't know exactly what that means. ;) Try it and you may find out. Enjoy this at Chandler Hill winery in Defiance. — 13 years ago
This is seriously good. Lovely ripe, rich, red fruit on the nose, with enormous depth and compelling notes of earth and minerals. I could sniff this all night. The palate doesn't quite live up to the nose - just a little closed in, in need of a few more years to reach its peak. Still, with air the texture began to show seductive, velvety notes and superb length. This is good now, but will be excellent when ready. — 9 years ago
How else to warm up for a trade tasting of invigorating Champagne this afternoon? Penetrating Sercial Madeira from the year that brought us the Boy Scouts of America. If wine were merit badges perhaps I'd nearly be an Eagle by now... After this evening's tasting I'll have quite a heavy merit badge sash for Champagne -an obsession that can reach no surfeit -it becomes more fascinating and evermore nuanced. For the moment however I'm awash in crushed kumquats in honey, marmalade, hazelnuts and roast peanuts -all layered among so much more in one of the richest Sercial Madeiras I've tried to date. — 10 years ago
Wonderful wine for the price especially within the reach of any serious wine buyer. — 10 years ago
2008, A great Bordeaux that needs more time to reach its peak. It was decanted a bit before sipping but not enough. The wine had a deep Bordeaux color, the nose is full of black current, chocolate , coffee and smokey earth, it has a full body with firm tannin that needs to open up and will soften with time, long dry finish. My score 90+, drink 2016-2022 — 11 years ago
...Baby Mack cruising around my first floor in his Ferrari motivates me to reach for a Super Tuscan.
Like I tell people in my neck of the woods; when you think Italian wines, think "AIA," for us it's easy; A1A... This Ornell-aia, is superb... Reminds me of Sassic-aia, probably should; I think they are right next to each other. Maybe being that much closer to the sea gives Ornellaia a distinct flavor; obviously Big Bordeaux style, but to me almost like a Meritage from Rutherford, CA. Just real good. Hoping my accountant Jimmy G and wife appreciate; they are on their way over for dinner... Jimmy G knows numbers, will he know wine? — 12 years ago
