Initially a muted nose which opened up to white and yellow flowers and with air, ripe fruit aromas - some minerality with a hint of oyster shell. On the palate ripe stone fruit reflecting the warmer vintage - some tropical fruit and ripe grapefruit as well. A saline touch at the finish. Very enjoyable and easy to drink. Red fruits, floral, mineral nose; medium bodied, rich texture, dark fruit and spices on mid palate — 9 years ago
Can we talk about this label? Who is this for? Anyway, this wine is a stark contrast to the 2012 Tribut. Not particularly noticing the step up in pedigree, which is maybe 2013's fault. Very tropical and soft, quite expressive but I miss some minerality. Not bummed to be drinking it though. Bus hang in Gateshead — 10 years ago
