Good body nice red fruits and herbs. — 6 years ago
Great length and finesse coupled with rasp and blueberries. Detect an aromatically "wet" quality maybe from cement aging. Perfect way to end the flight! Thank you Sophie :) — 12 years ago
Blend of 70% Grenache, 17% Mourvèdre, 10% Syrah & 3% Cinsault, deep Ruby color with aromas of berry fruits, oak and floral spice. On the palate flavors of black cherry and blackberry with oak, herb spice and floral notes. Wine was complex and elegant with fine smooth tannins, long fruit and spicy finish. Caramel on the nose. Dark berries and a long finish on the palate. Great Chateau-neuf. — 11 years ago
Pitted dark fruits on the nose. Very smooth and elegant feel with the perfect blend of fruit and earth. — 8 months ago
Used the Durand on the cork - soaked to the edge. Decanted for 2 hours.
This wine had some gaminess. Smooth. Fruit was a bit wild and overpowered by the savory flavors.
Paired well with the chicken skewers and onions. Needed complex flavors in the food to pair well.
Good but quite a bit below the Beaucastel — 9 months ago
