Lean complex mineral long finish. Would like to let this sit for a while longer before trying the next bottle. The freshness of it is honestly a little overwhelming would love to see it expand in the bottle a little more. Excellent nonetheless. — 4 years ago
Light salmon color. Tart on the palate with a mineral backbone. A satisfying acid finish. Clean and crisp, a classic French style rose’. — 6 years ago

The 2005 Léoville-Poyferré is drop-dead gorgeous on the nose with pure red cherries, raspberry preserve, rose petal and potpourri scents, gaining intensity with every swirl. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, a fine bead of acidity, silky smooth with a delineated, classic tobacco and smoked tinged finish that lingers in the mouth. One of the highlights of the decade and with much more to give. Superb. Tasted at the Léoville-Poyferré vertical at the château with Sara Lecompte Cuvelier. (Neal Martin, Vinous, September 2022)

Prieure Saint-Hippolyte - Languedoc - Blanc
50% Grenache Blanc, 25% Viognier, 25% Vermentino
Nice fresh fruit, dry, Peach, pear, floral, wax, stones.
Not the biggest, baddest, longest aging wine ever, but... a very well made Languedoc Blanc to be enjoyed now, under $15.
Guessing 11-12.5% ABV (label range 11-14), went nicely with an omelette dinner.

A fantastic Provençal rosé. I feel like I'm back in Cannes, on the Croisette... so excited about the mussels in cream we are pairing it with. The wine has some grapefruit, but the acid and bitter are well-balanced with some bright freshness. Beautiful pale pink colour too. — 8 years ago

First taste of Gamay Noir rose. Interesting blend of delicacy and vibrancy showing of strawberries and watermelon with a touch of creaminess even if not exactly complex — 2 years ago
