Really pretty floral aromatics with some tropical and exotic fruit, flavors of lichee and white flowers, ginger and hazelnut/toffee flan. Silken texture without being heavy. Nice freshness and minerality esp. for a Rhone white — 10 years ago
Goes well with grilled tri tip

Awesome pommerol, all the berries and more...given by M and C 59 Mitchell Wine — 7 years ago
Wow. I had another bottle of this a few years ago and I hated it. I guess I had a bad bottle. This one is absolutely amazing. at its peak but it can probably last 5 more years if properly stored. Gorgeous nose with lots of nuances on the palate of fruit And spice. This was a throw away bottle and it blows me away! — 7 years ago
Approachable. The palate shows blackberry, chocolate, and leather. There's also some herbs in there too. Grippy tannins, with an extended finish. — 8 years ago

When in St Emilion, why not try a local Chardonnay? Grown on limestone with a thin clay covering. Some creamy peach mid palate and moderate minerality. Somewhat reminiscent of a pouilly fuissé — 6 years ago
