2017 young and full of power and grace — 7 years ago
Fantastic. Jumps out of the glass with a woodsy waft. Powerful and dark toned but manages to remain lifted. — 8 years ago

The clay & limestone soils of Languedoc-Roussilon develop this soft and rich blend of 70% Syrah, 20% Grenache, 8% Mourvèdre, 2% Carignan. The Château Puech-Haut - Tête de Bélier red offers lots of black fruit, minerality with herbs on the finish. A nice surprise! — 5 years ago
Good structure. Long finish. Still lots of tannins. Surprising. Got lots of life left. — 7 years ago
Fruit forward and lush, like other 02s I have had, but showed better than my first bottle. — 9 years ago
The 2009 vintage that we had just prior to this was better -- 9.1 — 11 years ago

The 2014 is excellent. Very true to Forey’s elegant and linear style. Red fruit aromas are very pure and high-toned with a bit of orange peel character on top. Lovely spice and smoky mineral character. Good cut on the entry, slightly thin mid palate but a lingering energy and subtle concentration on the finish. This is not going to grab your senses with weight or power, but delivers impact nonetheless. — 7 years ago
10th anniversary wine. We did well with this stunning burgundy — 9 years ago
In an attempt to "hang" with my wine distributor friend tonight, I ventured out of my comfort zone with this syrah grenache blend and was pleasantly surprised. RP-kissed this one for a reason - big and bold - aromatic - a very good value drinkable. Paired nicely with my salmon and spinach salad. By day, I seek value in the bond market to pass along to my customers, so this got me thinking: what is/are the best value wine(s) you're drinking right now?? #sharethelove — 10 years ago

Light, bright, tart cherry, nice finish. So balanced and well done. Can’t wait to see what this family does with Williams Selyem and CA grapes in the years ahead — 5 years ago
