I'm fairly new to Girard wines, but really quite fond of this cab blend. I've tasted the '11 as well and this seems to be a step above. Really opens nicely after a bit of a decant...medium bodied but full of great flavor. — 9 years ago
Always been fond of Paloma after enjoying such a lovely tasting at the estate with the owner surrounded by hummingbirds and feeling like part of the family! Enjoyed the last of our three bottles of the '07 with Bill and Amy during graduation after we did a little Coravin blind taste. Soft and definitely ready to go. Delicate red fruits and very mellowed acid and tannin. — 10 years ago

Very generous wine, charred oak came through quite pronounced however. a beautiful and rich wine with a very 1990 feel. I am fond of the 93 over the 90. The Griotte is totally killer — 10 years ago

I am not usually a fan of Chardonnay, mostly because it is often aged in oak which I'm not fond of. However, the bartender recommended this particular Chardonnay and told me the story behind it and I really enjoyed it. Can't wait to drink it again! — 9 years ago
