Always been fond of Paloma after enjoying such a lovely tasting at the estate with the owner surrounded by hummingbirds and feeling like part of the family! Enjoyed the last of our three bottles of the '07 with Bill and Amy during graduation after we did a little Coravin blind taste. Soft and definitely ready to go. Delicate red fruits and very mellowed acid and tannin.

Paloma is definitely a benchmark for Napa Merlot and this '07 was a ringing endorsement of that. Rich black fruit, plenty of smooth tannins hanging around and it kicked ass with the deep fried ham we were cooking up.
