Pale golden yellow color with abundant pin prick bubbles and rich brioche, baked apple, floral, and a hint of butterscotch aromas. On the palate, it's medium-full bodied with rich mixed baked apples, ruby grapefruit flavors, wonderful acidity and minerality. Lingering finish. — 11 years ago

From their first vintage, this is a merlot-driven meritage. Hard to pin down in terms of flavors - an unusual combination of primary and secondary components - that actually improved in the glass. I'm a bit more partial to their more recent vintages, but still a terrific wine. — 11 years ago

Surprisingly good for the price! Winner!
