Château de Saint-Pey

Saint- Émilion Red Bordeaux Blend 2015

Deep dark garnet color. Nice dark cherry round fruit and depth here. Enough complexity with wood and earth. What a nice finish with firm long tannins that melt into a clean finish. Best merlot dominant wine I’ve had in a while. Had it with a NY strip at Capital Grille. — 6 years ago

Agree: tart cherries. Tannins still provide excellent body and structure, but the fruit is fading. Balance was intact after an hour decant, but don't hold any longer.
