What a fantastic Cote du Rhone! It is everything I could ever want in in a Rhone wine. Unfortunately the owner of the wine bar bought every case he could get his hands on. So you have to go to the Plaza Food Court wine bar on Central Park South if you want to sample this ambrosia! There is next to nothing online about Montepila, an obscure grape from Andalucia. This winemaker uses it for orange wine, really a pale peach hue with undertones of honeysuckle, apricot, and almonds. Delicious. — 11 years ago
